Vignoble du Reveur, Fil de L'ill, Alsace 2024

Muscat, Pinot Gris, Riesling and Pinot Blanc all co-fermented together, ambient yeast fermented, aged for 12 mo in stainless steel. The fruit is purchased grapes from small growers, all organically farmed. Vignoble de Reveur translates as the "Vineyard of Dreams." Mathieu Deiss and his partner Emmanuelle Milan created this personal project in 2013, though they both come from esteemed winemaking families in their own right and Mathieu continues to make the wines of his family under the Marcel Deiss label. They envisioned this project as true freedom to break boundaries and experiment in winemaking.
