With a degree in Food Studies and years of experience running the wine program at Dedalus in Vermont, Brittany brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep passion for the people and stories behind each bottle. She’ll be pouring a selection of current Kermit Lynch favorites and sharing insight into what makes them so compelling.

Join us for a special night with Stephen Bitterolf, founder of Vom Boden Wine Imports and one of the leading voices championing Germany’s most exciting wines.
While Germany has a centuries-old winemaking tradition, its reputation took a hit in the 1980s with an influx of cheap, mass-produced sweet wines. But the truth is, Germany continues to produce some of the world’s most thrilling, ageworthy, and elegant bottles.
For over a decade, Stephen has dedicated himself to telling this story—building Vom Boden around small, human-scale producers who work sustainably, organically, and with minimal intervention. His passion lies not just in the wines, but in the people and places behind them.
Come taste, learn, and be inspired by a new generation of German winemakers and the importer who has tirelessly championed their cause.

Come learn from and chat with Shannon West, founder of East West Wines, which imports handmade wines from organic, family wineries across Southeastern Europe. Having lived across the region, Shannon curates thoughtfully made, low-intervention wines from the Ancient wine world. The region has been producing wine longer than any and is having a winemaking renaissance following its transition from socialist economies + state owned wineries in the 1990s, which gave rise to the re-establishment of private family owned wineries that are highlighting ancient indigenous grape varieties

Modern Calligraphy & Pumpkin Lettering for Beginners

Whether you’re a stationery nerd, DIY Bride-to-be, or just a crafty individual, in this workshop you’ll be learning an introduction to modern calligraphy with a pointed dip pen and ink. We will cover all the basics and get you ready to add those special lettered details to all your spooky spreads – think lettered pumpkins at your front door, on your bar cart, as a Halloween party hostess gift or special occasion gift!
Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, 2 letter guides, tracing paper and straight pen holder), and all materials to write on. Everything is yours to keep at the end of the workshop! Additionally, we will be lettering on faux pumpkins at the end of our class time!
