Modern Calligraphy For Beginners

Whether you’re a stationery nerd, DIY Bride-to-be, or just a crafty individual, in this workshop you’ll be learning an introduction to modern calligraphy with a pointed dip pen and ink. We will cover all the basics and get you ready to add those special lettered details to all your spooky spreads – think lettered pumpkins at your front door, on your bar cart, as a Halloween party hostess gift or special occasion gift!
Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, 2 letter guides, tracing paper and straight pen holder), and all materials to write on. Everything is yours to keep at the end of the workshop!

Abby believes in creative choice and always provides space to customize your artwork.

Handcrafted Functional Ceramics and Crocheted Accessories to Warm You & Your Home. Meet Sharrel Meeker - born and raised in Massachusetts, lived and loved in California for a bit, and then came back to Boston and is living this dream of creating, making and running an art studio Brookline, MA.
Functional items are her jam: mugs for morning coffee or afternoon tea, jewelry for every day wear or date nights, and crocheted accessories to keep you warm in the chilly months or to decorate your home.
Sharrel's ceramic work is heavily inspired by natural landscapes and textures as well as the food and drink you consume from them.
