Quinta da Alorna’s Abafado 5 Years is a luxurious Portuguese dessert wine made exclusively from the Fernão Pires grape.Produced in the Tejo region, this licoroso is crafted using the traditional “abafado” method, where fermentation is halted by the addition of aguardente vínica, preserving the natural sugars. The wine undergoes a five-year maturation in used oak barrels, developing rich flavors and a smooth texture. With aromas of honey, figs, and almonds, and a persistent finish, it offers a delightful balance of sweetness and freshness.
