Guillaume Lafon, Meursault, "Narvaux" 2024

Representing the next generation at Dominque Lafon, his son Guillaume is taking over the winemaking for their negociant project. Guillaume found his way to wine after a career in education technology and software development, all the time in front of the computer called him back to the soil. After working with D'angerville and then with his father at Lingua Franca in Willamette he came back to Burgundy. With the release of the 2024 vintage, the negociant label will now have Guillaume's name. He remains deeply rooted in his father's philosophy of pure translation of terroir, but also with a vision for the future - one focused on sustainability, continual improvement and adjustment to climate change through a careful balance of tradition and innovation.
