From one of the most revered estates in the Veneto, Quintarelli’s Cà del Merlo is a single-vineyard expression that reflects the heart of Valpolicella. Often described as the "village wine" of the estate, it’s crafted in the same meticulous style as their famed Valpolicella, with extended aging of seven years before release. This cuvée is a unique field blend—anchored by Corvina and Corvinone (55%) and Rondinella (30%), with a 15% addition of non-traditional varieties including Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Croatina, Sangiovese, and Nebbiolo. The result is a wine of layered complexity: rich red fruit, gentle spice, and savory depth, framed by the structure and longevity Quintarelli is known for.
