Giulia Negri Langhe Nebbiolo, Pian Mole, Piedmont 2023

Giulia Negri has said that it is a considerable challenge to make a wine from Nebbiolo that is approachable young because the grape variety naturally has so much structure - lit is long and full in the glass.  This wine tastes completely as Nebbiolo should but the strident framework of the wine has been moderated by some time in wood, without losing any freshness or vibrancy. 

Fermented in Stainless steel and aged in 500L tonneau for 15 months, which is far longer than most wines in this category.
