The 2023 Giovanni Almondo Roero Arneis "Bricco delle Ciliegie" is a refined white wine from the Roero DOCG in Piedmont, Italy. Crafted from 35-year-old Arneis vines grown at 340–370 meters above sea level on sandy soils rich in clay and limestone, this wine reflects the unique terroir of the Bricco delle Ciliegie vineyard. The grapes undergo fermentation and aging in stainless steel vats for 10 months, with a small portion aged in untoasted French oak barrels.The result is a pale straw-yellow wine with aromas of jasmine, apple, white peach, orange blossom, and subtle balsamic notes of mint and anise. On the palate, it offers a deep mineral feel, balanced freshness, and a long, persistent finish.
