G. Fenocchio, Langhe Nebbiolo 2024

Five generations of Fenocchio's have been producing wines in Monforte d'Alba, Barolo, since 1864. Claudio's father was the first in the familiy to begin bottling under their name in 1964, and today Claudio carries along the tradition. The heart of the winery is centered on the Bussia, but they also have acquired vineyards in Cannubi, Castellero and Villero. The Langhe Nebbiolo is an excellent introduction to the wines, made from 15 year old vines outside of Bussia Sottana and Pianpolvere crus, 6 mo in stainless and 6 mo in Slavonian oak, organically farmed. 1300 cases made.
