Matteo Furlani is a fourth-generation winemaker cultivating high-altitude vineyards above Trento in the Dolomites, where he applies rigorous biodynamic practices inherited and expanded from his family’s natural methods. With a background in agronomy, Matteo emphasizes local grape varieties and unique vineyard conditions—clay soils over schist and granite, and traditional Pergola Trentina training for optimal vine health. Fermentation takes place without additives in cement or glass demijohns, with wines naturally clarified in the snow during winter. His "Metodo Interrotto" sparkling wines offer a distinct twist on méthode Champenoise, celebrating bottle re-fermentation in a raw, unfinished form.
Alpino Macerato is a blend of Muller Thurgau, Traminer and Sauvignon Blanc with 2 weeks of skin maceration. Spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel. Frozen must added in the Spring before re-fermentation in bottle. No disgorgement.
Tropical, fruity and bright with an herbaceous zing.
