One of the true greats of Burgundy: Domaine des Comtes Lafon. Domaine des Comtes  Lafon has been in the Lafon family since 1865, Dominique Lafon took over the domaine in 1985 until retiring in 2021 when he passed the torch along to his daughter Léa and nephew Pierre. You can be sure the domaine is in good hands, this rare wine is an exceptional village level Meursault. Half of the wine comes from their monopole Clos de la Baronne and half from another 3 plots including young vines of Perrières. Fully ripe fruit with pure vibrancy behind it, a fantastic wine that is hard to come by. Pair with a special dinner like butter poached lobster.
