Bastian Wolber’s Mont Poulain is a vibrant, natural red wine from Burgundy made primarily from Pinot Noir grown on clay soils near Pommard. Fermented with whole clusters and native yeasts, it undergoes gentle extraction and ages in old barrels for 18 months with minimal sulfur. The wine is bright and floral, offering red cherry, violet, and subtle spice, with a fresh, supple palate and fine tannins. It’s elegant and energetic, drinking well now but capable of evolving over a few years.
