• Hand harvested
• Fermented in used French oak barrels using only indigenous yeast
• Aged 8 months in barrels with regular lees stirring
• Aged 8 months in tank
• Bottled without fining, typically unfiltered

Apple, citrus oil, white flowers, honey and pear aromas with chalky soil and a slight nuance of oak. The palate is vibrant, full bodied and nicely balanced with a clear core of zesty acidity and a long, bouncy finish.

100% Chardonnay; alcohol: 12.5%; vineyards in Chassagne-Montrachet, across the road from the AOC village vineyards; clay soils; hand harvested; fermented in 10 – 30% new French oak barrels using only indigenous yeast; 8 months in barrel, 8 months in tank on lees; bottled unfined and usually unfiltered.
