In this class we will review six of the most important regions in France, how to decipher the country's wine labels and laws, and pick the perfect French wine for you. By the end of the class, you should have a general sense of what French wines have to offer. We will be tasting wines from Alsace, Loire Valley, Beaujolais, Burgundy, Bordeaux and Rhone. Guests receive 10% discount after class.

Wines of Chablis

Saturday, September 19th at 5PM - 6PM

In this class we will deep dive into the wines of Chablis, tasting 6 wines across the various tiers of quality - from village, 1er and Grand Cru. The whites of Chablis are noted for the transparent expression of soil, showing as flinty, mineral and reminiscent of the sea. We will discuss, while tasting, what makes each expression unique and how to choose the right food (and occasion) pairing. All guests receive 10% off purchases that evening.

Wines of Loire Valley

Saturday, September 26th at 5PM - 6PM

The Loire Valley is one of the most diverse regions for wine in France. The region is rather large, spanning 200 miles along the Loire River, and across the Valley you can find wine from a wide range of styles: sparkling, white, red and sweet. In the class we will experience the range of what Loire Valley has to offer. Guests receive 10% off their purchases.
