Unico Zelo Fresh AF, Riverland, Australia 2023

A vibrant and refreshing red wine that lives up to its name. Crafted predominantly from Nero d’Avola (97%) with a touch of Zibibbo (3%), this wine showcases the unique terroir of the Riverland and Adelaide Hills regions. The grapes are grown in ancient sandy limestone soils, contributing to the wine's aromatic complexity and zippy character.

The winemaking process involves whole berry wild fermentation, natural malolactic fermentation, and maturation in stainless steel for 4-5 months. Minimal intervention is employed, with only a small amount of SO₂ added at bottling.
