Girolamo Russo, `A Rina, Etna Rosso, Sicily 2024

Norello Mascalese with just a little Nerello Cappuccio sourced from the younger vines in the estate's four contradas on the high altitude north side of Mount Etna. Mirrors the structure and weight of Pinot Noir, but with wilder red fruits, tart cherries and notes of leather, herbs and volcanic ash. From one of the great names for Etna Rosso.
