Gaja Ca'Marcanda, Promis, Toscana IGT 2023

Ca’ Marcanda Promis is a Toscana IGP from the Bolgheri and Bibbona areas of Tuscany, where vineyards thrive on dark, lime- and clay-rich soils. This blend of Merlot, Syrah, and Sangiovese is aged 12 months in oak barrels before blending and additional bottle aging, reaching an alcohol content of 14.5%.

The wine presents a deep ruby red color with purple highlights. On the nose, it offers a fruit-driven bouquet of wild raspberry, black currant, and blueberry, complemented by hints of pink peppercorn and licorice. Medium-bodied with rounded tannins and lively acidity, Promis evolves on the palate from aromatic herbs to blackberry and black cherry, finishing with a subtle savory note of olive.
