Crafted from 100% Nerello Mascalese, Rosso di Contrada captures the essence of southeastern Sicily’s Noto Valley. The wine opens with aromas of dried cherry, dusty earth, and dried flowers, leading to a lively, dry palate layered with clove, orange zest, and tangy sour cherry. Vibrant fruit and spice carry through to a long, balanced finish with firm tannins and bright acidity.

Located in the Buonivini district, Marabino farms thirty hectares of calcareous clay hills under one of Europe’s sunniest skies. Practicing biodynamic agriculture, the estate relies exclusively on estate-grown grapes, hand-harvesting and fermenting with native yeasts and no additives. The result is a pure, expressive wine that reflects the unique terroir and natural vitality of Sicily.
