Filipa Pato comes from one of Portugal’s most respected winemaking families—her father is the legendary Luís Pato. Based in Bairrada, a coastal region known for its sparkling wines and the indigenous Baga grape, Filipa continues the family’s dedication to expressing the region’s unique character. Baga is often compared to Nebbiolo for its floral aromatics and firm tannic structure. In sparkling form, however, it shows a brighter, fresher side, with lively acidity and notes of red berries. Farmed organically and made in the traditional Champagne method, with nine months on the lees before release, this is a vibrant, crowd-pleasing sparkler that seriously overdelivers for the price—and makes any gathering more festive.
