Lamole is a remote and elevated village in the Chianti region, known for its cool microclimate and sandy soils. I Fabbri, a family-owned winery known for producing elegant, aromatic Chianti Classico wines from Sangiovese grapes grown in high-elevation, sandy soils. The estate, which has been in the Grassi family since the 17th century, was revitalized by Susanna Grassi in 2000 and is now a certified organic vineyard. The wine has a pretty, ethereal, and elegant character with red fruit notes like cherries, along with hints of dried orange peel, cloves, and dark chocolate.
