An energetic red that almost floats across the palate at only 11.5% alcohol. The Zweigelt (the dominant grape) gives the wine force and dark fruit, the Merlot and Blaufrankisch, a bit of mid-palate weight and herbal complexity. But in the end, this is just a graceful, buoyant light red to chill with… also, it can and maybe should be served chilled.
