Ficomontanino, Noble Kara, Tuscany, 2024

From Chiusi, bordering Umbria, this is a light framed red wine with just 24 hours maceration on the skins with fermentation finished in stainless steel the wine sees no wood. Pure Sangiovese from three different parcels, sits on the divide of rose and red. Unfined and unfiltered with minimum sulfur. 12.5% abv. "Noble Kara" is the winemakers grandfather's favorite horse.
