Ameztoi, Rubentis Rose, Getariako Txakolina, Spain

The Ameztoi Rubentis Rosé is a wine from the Ameztoi family, which is located in the Basque Country of Spain. It’s a well-known producer of Txakolina, a regional style of white wine, but they also produce some lovely rosés.

The 2024 vintage of Ameztoi Rubentis Rosé is  fresh and vibrant, with a distinct balance between fruitiness and acidity. It is made from the Hondarrabi Beltza and Hondarrabi Zuri grape varieties, which are traditional to the Basque Country. The wine usually has a slight effervescence, characteristic of Txakoli wines, which gives it a refreshing, zesty profile.

Bright flavors like strawberry, raspberry, and citrus, with a crisp and dry finish. It pairs well with seafood, tapas, or light dishes like grilled vegetables or salads.
